On 18 August 2020, minister Aiwanger visited the wind turbine of the citizen energy cooperative near the town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. Three more wind turbines of the citizen energy cooperative are planned in the surrounding area. We were there and, together with the citizen energy cooperative, we were pleased that at least part of the Bavarian state government has recognised the importance of renewable energies for Bavaria.
We are developing an H2 battery so that electricity can find a home even when it is not being used. This allows locally generated electricity to be stored locally and used again locally at a later date as electricity or for hydrogen vehicles. On 7 November we will present the first component of the H2 battery in Schweitenkirchen: our electrolysis module.
We wish the citizen energy cooperative a lot of political support and a lot of fresh wind for green electricity for the existing and new wind turbines. Our solution is ready whenever the wind blows. That way we will contribute to the hydrogen state of Bavaria.
